FAUNA/FLORA NATURALS

Health & Wellness Meridian, Idaho
It’s a one woman show over here! The business started accidentally, when I made a product to help soothe my son’s eczema and realized just how great it worked. I then started making other products geared towards other needs and skin types and a business was born!

Alcohol inks are a fascinating medium to work in because you can’t easily control what you do or what you end up with it. It’s very free flowing and what the end result is is always a surprise and usually very unplanned. The colors are amazing and the effect is just beautiful.

As a young child to entertain myself, I was given a box full of junk to make something out of it and that’s where I started learning how to make art out of anything at all. Now I make things like themed ornamental bird houses, in small fantasy boxes and wall art that tells a story. I also do a lot of beaded landscapes that are really fun.

The Rosy Whisk Bakery

The Rosy Whisk Bakery

Food & Drink Caldwell, Idaho
Well my name is Millie, I’m 22 years old, and I grew up in Boise. I absolutely love Idaho with all my heart. Cooking and baking have always been a huge passion for me and my parents. I truly believe that good food can create memories and relationships that last a lifetime. I’ve known for years now that I wanted to start my own business, but I finally worked up the courage to do it. My path in life has been slightly untraditional. I got a college scholarship and got about halfway through my first semester before I was forced to drop out and move back in with my parents due to an accident that left me with medical issues. Since then, I’ve come to realize that life is too short not to take risks. My family has been extremely supportive, especially my fiancé. At this point all I can do is pray that God continues to bless us and help us navigate this adventure. The hope is to turn The Rosy Whisk into my full time job!
