idaGROW Listing Rules & Terms

idaGROW is an Idaho-focused discovery platform designed to help people discover independent businesses, makers, nonprofits, and the people and stories behind them.

By applying for, participating in, or maintaining a listing on idaGROW, the applicant and its authorized representative agree to the following Rules & Terms.

1. Listing Eligibility

idaGROW listings are intended for legitimate independent businesses, makers, and nonprofit organizations with meaningful roots or operations in Idaho.

Eligible organizations may include those that:

• Were founded or are headquartered in Idaho;
• Are independently owned and operated in Idaho;
• Maintain substantial operations in Idaho;
• Create or produce their work in Idaho; or
• Began in Idaho or maintain meaningful Idaho operations while also operating elsewhere.

An organization does not necessarily need to operate exclusively within Idaho to qualify.

National chains, large corporate chains, franchise locations, multi-level marketing businesses, and organizations without a meaningful connection to Idaho are not eligible.

idaGROW is a politically neutral platform. Political parties, campaigns, candidates, political action committees (PACs), and organizations primarily focused on political campaigning or advocacy are not eligible for listings.

idaGROW reserves the right to determine whether an applicant meets the eligibility requirements and purpose of the platform.

2. Application and Approval

All listings are subject to review and approval by idaGROW.

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance or publication.

idaGROW may request additional information when reasonably necessary to verify an applicant, its Idaho connection, ownership or operation, or information provided in an application.

Applicants should provide truthful and reasonably complete information.

idaGROW reserves the right to decline an application when the applicant does not meet the eligibility requirements, standards, or purpose of the platform.

3. Your idaGROW Profile

Approved participants may receive a dedicated idaGROW profile containing information such as:

• Name and logo;
• Photographs or other imagery;
• Idaho city and region;
• Listing type and category;
• Business, maker, or organizational description;
• Personal or organizational story;
• Website, shop, booking page, or other destination;
• Social media links; and
• Contact information.

idaGROW profiles are intended to help visitors learn about listed organizations and the people behind them and then connect directly with them.

Specific profile features may change as idaGROW develops.

4. Accuracy and Updates

Listed organizations are responsible for providing accurate and current information.

Participants should notify idaGROW when significant information changes, including changes to their location, ownership, contact information, website, operating status, or other information that materially affects their listing.

idaGROW may make reasonable edits to submitted content for grammar, spelling, length, formatting, clarity, consistency, organization, or presentation without intentionally changing its underlying meaning.

Because storytelling is part of the idaGROW experience, submitted information may also be edited or rewritten into profile descriptions, introductions, social features, or similar promotional content.

idaGROW will make reasonable efforts to accurately represent the information and story provided by the participant.

Participants may contact idaGROW if they believe their profile contains an error or materially misrepresents information they provided.

5. Images, Logos, Stories, and Submitted Content

By providing photographs, logos, written material, stories, descriptions, or other content to idaGROW, the participant confirms that they own the material or have sufficient rights or permission to provide it for the uses described here.

Ownership of submitted intellectual property remains with its respective owner.

The participant grants idaGROW permission to use submitted materials for:

• Their idaGROW profile;
• idaGROW website features;
• Social media posts and spotlights;
• Newsletters;
• Promotional materials relating to idaGROW; and
• Reasonable promotion of the participant's presence on idaGROW.

This permission does not transfer ownership of the participant's intellectual property to idaGROW.

6. Website and Social Promotion

idaGROW may choose to feature listed businesses, makers, nonprofits, their owners, team members, work, products, services, or stories through the idaGROW website, social media accounts, newsletters, or other promotional channels.

Participation in a standard listing does not guarantee any specific number, frequency, timing, or type of promotional feature.

When appropriate, idaGROW may contact a participant regarding collaborative social media content or other promotional opportunities.

idaGROW may also offer optional paid featured placements, promotional opportunities, sponsorships, or enhanced listing options separately from a standard listing.

Purchasing a standard listing does not require the purchase of any optional promotional service.

7. Discovery, Placement, and Results

Listings may be organized and displayed by factors including listing type, category, region, featured status, or other methods idaGROW develops to improve discovery.

idaGROW may feature, organize, categorize, reorder, or otherwise display listings as reasonably necessary to operate and develop the platform.

A listing does not guarantee any particular:

• Placement or ranking;
• Number of profile views;
• Website visits;
• Social media exposure;
• Leads or inquiries;
• Customers;
• Sales; or
• Other business results.

Any "Featured" designation or promotional placement does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of the participant, its products, services, or organization.

8. Free Trial Period

Unless otherwise stated in writing, newly approved standard listings receive an initial 90-day free period.

No payment or credit card is required to begin the standard free period.

The 90-day period begins when the participant's idaGROW profile is published and made publicly available, not when the application is submitted.

Participation during the free period does not obligate the participant to purchase a paid listing afterward.

Before or around the end of the free period, the participant will have the opportunity to decide whether to continue with a paid listing.

If the participant chooses not to continue, the listing may be removed after the free period ends.

Promotional offers or individually agreed complimentary listing periods may differ from the standard 90-day period. Any such arrangement communicated directly by idaGROW will be honored according to the terms offered.

9. Standard Listing Fees

Following the standard free period, the current price for a standard idaGROW listing is:

$50 per year.

Payment purchases the applicable listing service for the following 12-month period.

There is no obligation to purchase a paid listing after the free period.

The applicable price will be disclosed before payment is requested.

idaGROW may change pricing for future listing periods as the platform develops. Any new price applicable to a participant's future renewal will be disclosed before payment is due.

Payment for a listing does not guarantee traffic, exposure, leads, customers, sales, or other business results.

10. Renewal and Cancellation

A paid listing covers the full listing period purchased.

Unless a different arrangement is clearly disclosed and agreed to, payment for one listing period does not create an obligation to purchase another listing period.

A participant may request removal of its listing at any time.

However, once an annual listing period has been purchased, voluntarily removing the listing before the end of that period does not entitle the participant to a full or partial refund, credit, or prorated reimbursement.

Annual listing fees are therefore non-refundable once the paid listing period begins, except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed to by idaGROW.

Before another paid listing period begins, the applicable renewal price and terms will be made available to the participant.

11. Optional Paid Features and Promotions

The standard annual listing fee applies to the standard idaGROW profile and its normal inclusion throughout the platform.

idaGROW may separately offer optional services such as:

• Featured profiles;
• Enhanced visibility or placement;
• Newsletter features;
• Sponsored content;
• Social media promotional opportunities;
• Category or regional sponsorships; or
• Other promotional services.

Availability, pricing, duration, and terms for optional services may differ from the standard listing and will be disclosed when offered.

The availability or purchase of an optional promotional service does not guarantee specific traffic, leads, sales, or other results unless idaGROW expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

12. Independent Organizations

Businesses, makers, and nonprofits appearing on idaGROW remain independent from idaGROW.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, participation does not create a partnership, employment relationship, agency relationship, joint venture, franchise, or endorsement between idaGROW and the listed participant.

idaGROW is not a party to purchases, contracts, appointments, services, donations, communications, or other transactions or interactions between visitors and listed participants.

Visitors are directed to participants' own websites, shops, social media accounts, booking services, or other destinations to interact or transact directly with them.

13. Participant Responsibility

Each participant is solely responsible for its own:

• Business or organizational operations;
• Products and services;
• Pricing and representations;
• Licensing and permits;
• Insurance;
• Taxes;
• Customer relationships;
• Fulfillment and shipping;
• Returns and refunds;
• Privacy practices; and
• Compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Visitors are responsible for making their own decisions regarding whether to purchase from, hire, visit, donate to, contact, or otherwise interact with a listed participant.

14. Prohibited Content and Conduct

Listings may not contain fraudulent, materially misleading, unlawful, discriminatory, obscene, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate content.

Participants may not use idaGROW to impersonate another person or organization, intentionally provide false information, distribute malicious links, or engage in unlawful activity.

idaGROW may decline or remove content, links, images, or listings that reasonably create legal, safety, fraud, intellectual-property, or reputational concerns.

15. Suspension or Removal

idaGROW may refuse, suspend, or remove a listing if:

• The participant no longer meets eligibility requirements;
• Information provided is materially false or misleading;
• The participant closes or ceases meaningful Idaho operations;
• The listing or participant violates these Rules & Terms;
• The participant engages in activity creating a reasonable legal, fraud, safety, or reputational concern; or
• Continued inclusion would be materially inconsistent with the purpose of idaGROW.

When reasonable under the circumstances, idaGROW may contact the participant for clarification or an opportunity to correct an issue before removing a listing.

If idaGROW removes a paid listing because of a violation of these Rules & Terms, the listing fee is non-refundable except where otherwise required by law.

16. Changes to idaGROW and These Terms

idaGROW is a developing platform. Features, discovery tools, profile formats, promotional opportunities, eligibility requirements, and pricing may change over time.

idaGROW may update these Rules & Terms as the platform develops.

Material changes affecting an existing paid listing should not retroactively shorten the listing period already purchased without reasonable notice.

Changes to pricing for a future paid period will be disclosed before that payment is due.

17. Acceptance

By submitting an idaGROW Listing Application, the applicant confirms that:

• The information provided is accurate to the best of their knowledge;
• They are authorized to submit the application and provide the submitted materials;
• They have read and agree to these idaGROW Listing Rules & Terms; and
• They understand that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
